Synopsis:

""Don’t worry, Anna. I’ll tell her, okay? Just let me think about the best way to do it."
"Okay."
"Promise me? Promise you won’t say anything?"
"Don’t worry.” I laughed. “It’s our secret, right?"

According to Anna’s best friend, Frankie, twenty days in Zanzibar Bay is the perfect opportunity to have a summer fling, and if they meet one boy every day, there’s a pretty good chance Anna will find her first summer romance. Anna lightheartedly agrees to the game, but there’s something she hasn’t told Frankie–she’s already had her romance, and it was with Frankie’s older brother, Matt, just before his tragic death one year ago.

TWENTY BOY SUMMER explores what it truly means to love someone, what it means to grieve, and ultimately, how to make the most of every beautiful moment life has to offer." (Taken from; Good Reads)

Review:

This book is about Anna and her best friend Frankie trying to enjoy a summer together after Frankie's' brother, Matt, death. They make a plan to meet one boy for each day they spend on summer vacations. But their plans don't turn out exactly as they wanted them to. Anna is hiding the truth about her relationship with Matt before he died and Frankie has secrets of her own.

I really enjoyed this book. I sympathized with Anna and her struggles and with Frankie and her behavior. The characters weren't exactly really developed at first, but they grew throughout the book. One thing I really liked about this book is how the parents are there. I don't know if it makes sense, but some books don't present the parental figures.

In my opinion, this book portrayed the reality of loss in a family pretty accurately. If you are going to read this book, I would recommend you to do it during summer.

I agree, it's definitely a book to read during summer and although it has a tragedy aspect it's a quick read.
